Fulgerton Bellows MIDI Expression Module

The Fulgerton Bellows MIDI Expression Module is a professional external module designed for MIDI accordions that do not have a built-in bellows sensor or expression control.

The module reads the movement and pressure of the bellows through a dedicated sensor and converts it into MIDI Expression CC11 messages. This allows the accordion to respond more naturally and expressively, giving the player real dynamic control similar to an acoustic accordion.

The system works as an external MIDI processor. It receives the original MIDI signal from the accordion, preserves all existing MIDI messages — Note On, Note Off, Program Change, Volume, Pitch Bend, and other MIDI commands — and adds real-time bellows expression to the outgoing MIDI signal.

The result is a single complete MIDI output that can be connected to a sampler, sound module, expander, arranger, or computer.

This module is ideal for older MIDI accordions, systems without expression control, and players who want a more realistic, dynamic, and musical response without replacing the entire MIDI system.
