SoundPro X2 Professional Accordion MIDI System

The SoundPro X2 Professional Accordion MIDI System is designed for accordionists who need organized access to essential MIDI performance functions. The system combines a display, command board, register controls, note sensors, a bellows sensor and a dedicated potentiometer in one complete configuration. Every function described below can be managed as part of the SoundPro X2 setup without adding features that are not required for the instrument.

SoundPro X2 Performance Controls

SoundPro X2 provides a practical control structure for the main parameters used during MIDI accordion performance. The available functions are presented through the system display and command controls, allowing the player to organize settings and select the required configuration.

8 Banks with 8 Registers per Bank

The system provides 8 banks, with 8 registers in each bank. This creates a total of 64 available register positions. The bank structure helps keep different settings separated and logically organized, while the register controls provide access to the selected positions.

Register names can be edited, making it possible to identify saved configurations with names that are meaningful to the player. Instead of relying only on register numbers, the display can present the selected name as part of the SoundPro X2 workflow.

Transposition, Octave, Third and Scale

Transposition allows the selected MIDI configuration to be shifted when a different musical key is required. Octave selection provides an additional way to position the played notes in the desired range. The Third, also identified as the Terka function, is available as a separate performance control.

The scale function is also included in SoundPro X2. These controls are grouped with the other system settings so the player can prepare the required configuration for the accordion and the connected MIDI setup.

Pitch Bend and Modulation

SoundPro X2 includes dedicated control for pitch bend and modulation. Pitch bend provides control over pitch variation, while modulation provides access to the corresponding MIDI modulation function. Both are part of the system’s performance controls and can be used according to the configuration of the connected MIDI equipment.

Dual Volume Control

Volume can be adjusted in two different ways. The first volume control is available from the dedicated command board / remote control. The second is provided by the separate potentiometer. This dual arrangement gives the player a choice between the command controls and the physical potentiometer, depending on which control is more convenient during setup or performance.

Bellows Sensor Activation and Deactivation

The integrated bellows sensor can be activated or deactivated. When bellows control is required, the sensor can be enabled as part of the MIDI setup. When the player prefers to use the system without bellows response, the sensor can be disabled. This makes the bellows function adaptable to the selected playing configuration.
